Cryptomator 1.1.4 fixes security vulnerabilities related to Flash file injections and addresses bugs with cloud services, Windows, and Linux. A beta release for the Android app is planned soon, and we’re working on performance improvements with FUSE/Dokany integration and modularizing cryptographic libraries. “Auto Unlock” is a priority for a future release.

Cryptomator for iOS is now available in the French App Store after gaining French encryption approval. Beyond the U.S. ERN, apps using non-standard cryptography require approval from France’s ANSSI, involving a mailed application in French. The process can take a few months, so be prepared for some translation work and waiting.

Cryptomator 1.1 is now available for Windows, OS X, Linux, and iOS! This update includes a password strength indicator, sync conflict detection, and several bug fixes. The iOS version adds WebDAV support, background downloads/uploads, improved Google Drive integration, and UI optimizations. An Android app prototype is also in development.
